Question Music Programs In RH?

I was wondering if there is a program like fruityloops that runs in linux. Or better yet if there was a FT2 type Trakker that can compose music using samples (.wav format or somthing like it that is easy to edit and sounds good)

and second question, what about a sound editing tool that can Crop, Paste, Add effects and record sound with? Kinda like CoolEdit PRo for Windows..

Third question. Anyone know when the 3d drivers for ATI radeon are gonna be out for Linux? I have 30 days before I have to return this card, so I need to know if its gonna be supported or not. Or if you don't know when the drivers are gonna be out. What is a really good 64 mb DDR card thats under $300? that works with RH 7.1 AND has 3d support??

I think my card is about $240 or somthing.. I can't spend more money then that...

Unhappy ARg!

This absence of Linuxconf is really pooping on my party here..
I've spent about 5 hours looking on the redhat site and other bbs's to find out how to install linuxconf.. I've found one RPM that doesnt work, and Ive Searched EVERYTHING by hand on the disc 2.. I find nothing at all... I did however find tons of other people that were confused as to why linuxconf is gone.. Now editing users accounts is not that easy. Or it seems to be not so easy..

I was very content with linuxconf and I wish someone can explain as to why its now gone.. I know an Addusr and Usermod and other commands exist, but I've never even used those before... I was a pure linuxconf....

I assume there is a better program?? if there is I haven't found any info on it..

this whole hate-the-newbie thing sucks for us people that read and read and still sound dumb...

I would ask for a work around on the things I want to modify but there is too many.. Its not just user mod. theres. Inet, ident, I want to make a Super user, I want to disable a bunch of services like http, etc etc etc.....

So if anyone can help that would be great..

RE: Linuxconf

Dude, go here and calm down ;-)

http://www.solucorp.qc.ca/linuxconf/

Click the Downloads button in the left hand navigation and simply select the distro you want it for.
