Hi there

I've bought an EPSON Perfection 640 USB scanner but can't get the driver loaded. If I compile USB support into the kernel (not module) the kernel picks up the correct scanner but tells me
"usb.c: USB device 5 (vend/prod 0x4b8/0x10c) is not claimed by any active driver."

There is also no entry in the /proc/bus/usb/devices and drivers file.

How can I get a driver associated with the scanner to start using it?

Can anyone help please.
