Linux possibilities for a 7" Inet 3G phablet?

I purchased a used and rooted Inet #86VEBC 3G phablet. Can I use Linux on the device?

Er, Android is a Linux system. There's a Linux kernel under the hood.

What sort of things do you want to do that need Linux?

I have a very similar tablet - an Azpen A727 that I believe is an OEMed Inet model. It's rooted, and to provide Linux CLI features I installed Jack Palevich's Terminal Emulator (essentially XTerm for Android), and Android ports of full Busybox and the bash shell.

I don't have a real need for something like Ubuntu on my tablet.
