You can connect your xperia by USB or remove SD card and connect it through adapter to PC and copy all data to PC. Then you can clean your SD card from everything. The applications are stored in /sdcard/.android_secure you can copy them back and Android will rocognize them after remounting sdcard. If you have many of them it can take some time. Data for applications, like savegames, etc. are usually stored in /sdcard/Android/data but applications can store them anywhere, just search.

When connected, have you tried looking in the computer tab, and right clicking on the device to open it. From there you can save the app to your xperia SD card.
SD Card Data Recovery can help you recover photo from SD card. but it is not free. you have to pay $29.95 to get the full version. trial version only allows you to preview lost files, if you want to recover them, you have to register.

There are applications in the Play Store which seek to resolve the issue you have, but I'd first try a few different approaches:

There are two possibilities regarding the data on your external sd card. The first is that the system in your S4 detected some of the data as needing to be stored in the "internal sd card," which is designated "sdcard0" on JellyBean OS.

Go into your "my files" app and tap the "all files" menu selection, then "sdcard0." In there you'll see a list of folders including dcim and media, etc. Search around; you may find the missing pictures/data there.

If not, perhaps the files are still on the external sd card. If you've been unable to see them in the gallery app or the "my files" app, try using an adapter to look at the sd card contents on your computer. The other way is with the USB cable that came with the charging apparatus with your phone.

For more information visit: SD Card Recovery.

Good luck. Let us know how things go.

    Hi

    I don't have your device.

have you tried to go into system settings -> storage -> (words here may vary) choose USB/sd card as default storage ?

    2) install 360 Mobile safe

it can transfer apps from sd card back to storage
once you confirm they are running.....transfer them back to storage

    good luck

You will need some specialist recovery software. We were recommend a program called ZAR. Other similar programs are available, but ZAR worked well for us and is free for this purpose.
Install ZAR, then insert the damaged SD card into your PC's card reader. Launch ZAR. (You may have to disable your PC's security software, in which case we recommend you also disable the internet connection).
When prompted, click the Image Recovery (Free) option. This will help you to recover photos from an SD card.
ZAR will now look for devices that are installed, and you need to point it toward the offending SD card. Select the correct disk and click Next. ZAR will now analyse your SD card. This will take a few minutes.
Once this is complete you'll see a list of the recovered files. On most SD cards the chances are that clicking the 'Root' checkbox will select all the images. Click Next and you can then select the folder into which recovered files will be placed. By default this will be the same as the folder your chose to save (so 'Root', in all likelihood).
One important point: you will be asked to select a destination folder for the recovered files. Make sure you choose one on your PC's hard disk and not back on to the corrupt SD card. The latter option will help you not one jot!
It will take a few minutes for the files to copy across. Once this is complete browse to the destination folder you selected. You should find most if not all of the files you wanted to rescue.

Well, can you let us know which version of Android you are currently running ?? I would say if the OS version is updated then you can't do anything about it other than try updating the app over the PlayStore !
