    Wifi data counter

Does anyone know if there is an app out there that can break down wifi usage by SSID? I use wifi both at home and at work, but as I have a download limit at home it would be useful to know how much I'm using on my Desire S

    Thanks

Many Home Wireless Routers have a built in Data Meter that can be configured to reset t zero on aspecified date and time.

Yes John, but I have several devices (my mobile, 2 laptops, a PC) that connect through that router and I would find it useful to know what percentage of the overall was being used by each device, hence my original question ...

Then you need to run some Sniffer software such as Wireshark. Sniffer software will do the sort of data gathering and analysis you seem to desire.

accessing the admin of your router allows you to see that information as well. But I guess that would depend on the make and model of your router.

    Traffic monitor

    Hi Steve
I know your question was a long time ago but if you are still looking, RadioOpt TrafficMonitor might fit the bill.
It lets you nominate different SSIDs as 'home ' or 'work' locations and counts data against each separately.
