I have this Nexus 9 now on Android-7.1.1 (latest patch level) and the memory write policy seems paranoid to the point of being inoperative.
"Just because they say you're mad doesn't mean they're not out to get you."

Bluetooth won't work. It partially writes part of the first file in a transfer in the / folder and then seems to pipe the rest to /dev/null. Uploads continue, writing stops. Is there a size limit?

OTG storage likewise has a 1% success rate. The easiest/fastest method of file transfer between other linux devices (android phone & linux pc) seems to be transfer to google drive, which is crap. Why should the convenioence of modern devices only be available to others and not me?
