ssh console from Android phone to Linux desktop

Hi all. Does anyone know of an Android app that allows command line = terminal = console access from a phone to a Linux host?

There are various apps that provide gui access, over vnc or rdp; not talking about that.

There are apps to access your (rooted) phone from your desktop, but I want the other way round.

And there seem to be lots of apps that use ssh to act as multimedia remote controls; don't want that.

I can't see to find a simple ssh command line app.

    Hi Secretcode.

ConnectBot is your friend here, the app allows you to connect via ssh or telnet to a remote server.

I use it to ssh in to a linux laptop I use as a mediaserver, works a treat. Using the keyboard to enter commands can be a bit challenging sometimes, the lack of a TAB key being particularly painful. May be worth investigating replacement keyboard apps if you're going to do it a lot.

Thanks, this looks like the solution.

I've found the clicking the optical cursor button and then 'i' is the equivalent of Tab - it sends Ctrl-I which is a Tab character.
