Head to developer DOT android DOT com and download their development kit package. It is available for all operating systems plus Windows ;-). You will also find MASSES of information to guide you,

*Warning* Do not be tempted to download the new Android Studio. It is NOT ready for use. (I tried it and it could not compile the demo hello world app that came with it!)

    Hope this helps

Download the ADT (Android Development Toolkit) from developer.android.com. However, whether you use a 32bit or 64bit OS you MUST use 32bit JAVA on your OS whatever version ADT you download.

For some reason ADT 32/64bit must be driven using 32 bit JAVA regardless of OS bit-ness.
