What d'you need it for? I did away with it long ago.Just save space next to windows or install normally on unused space.partition magic has a tendancy to get "sticky"
somehow and lock you out of your system. When I first started using Linux I went for that, but no more. once it was absolutley necessary- that I can recall, but generally you should try to avoid third party partitioning sw.

If you download system rescue cd, or pretty much any live cd with QTParted on it, it is an awesome Partition Magic Clone that works way better and supports way more file systems. Of course, I didn't find out about it until about 2 or 3 days after I spent 60 bucks on partition magic but oh well, whutr u going to do...

It's funny, around the same time I bought Norton Ghost 2003, and then I found Partimage on the System Rescue CD....works better and supports more filesystems....Guess I should look for stuff before I buy the alternatives :-P
