Hello every body,

I am having difficulty in installing Redhat 5.2 on my Compaq Proliant ML350 server which has SCSI hard drive and NCR53c8xx SCSI card.

Whenever I tried to install LINUX 5.2 on this machine after detecting the NCR SCSI card, it always tells me to initialize the hard drive and during the the process of initialization it always gets stuck.

Kindly if any one knows how to solve this problem then reply me.

Have you considered to install a higher version of Linux as Redhat 7.1. It may include your missing driver ???
BTW: It's free. You can download an ISO image from http://www.linuxiso.org
