Just like it says, when I dialup in root I have no problem, but when I try to dialup in my user it says the ppp daemon dies unexpectedly. So far i can find no confuguration differences. Any help is much appreciated.

Have you set the right permissions for the user to dial-out? You may have to change the permissions for pppd. You may want to create a group called dial-out and then give all necessary files the group dial-out, allowing those in the group to dial-out!
