Kdelibs 2.1.2 install problems

I have a solid install of Red Hat 7.1
that I would like to upgrade with
Kdelibs 2.1.2. I am a newbie and am
unfamiliar with the Linux upgrade
process. I have tested the install with
Package Manager from within Kde and
from Gnome and am told of massive dependency
violations if I proseed.
Can someone lead me through the process?
thanks

Dependencies

You could check the KDE website for instructions and info.

The dependencies may be on the install disks for RH 7.1, You need to query the rpm and install the necessary library files and whatever else is says is reguired. Some of the them might have dependencies of their own. Once they are installed it should test without errors.
