Partion problem

I have Windows ME on my PC and used Partition Magic 6 to make a partion to install Red Hat Linux.

Once I activated the partition the computer didn't boot anymore.
I think it is because this new partion is now the boot partition and since it's formated to be Linux I can't access when I use DOS boot disk.

Is there any DOS based program to change which partion to use as the boot partion?

I didn't make any partion magic boot disk (Dumm I know..) I if make it on another PC will it boot mine?

Thanks

hpc

You should be able to make a generic boot disk under Windows on another machine, get to a DOS prompt then use the dos version of Partition Tragic to set your FAT(32) partition back to active.
