how do i setup att@home for suse 6.4?


I have a computer i am installing suse 6.4 on, and am subscribed to AT&T@home, how do i set up the internet connection? Any help would be appreciated.

Got the network card working yet?

Make sure you have installed the package 'dhcpcd'.

Then run
Code:
dhcpcd -d -h your_client_id
The client ID is the one supplied to you by your ISP (if that's how they authenticate you)

The '-d' is just to give you some output in the syslog so you can see what's going on.
