network printer

since the time this question was posted, many things have gottn better. And printing is
one of the most improved. Network printer configuration is simply a matter of using CUPS.

If Its installed, and started at boot time, all that necessary is to access the CUPS business with
a browser. Do this by entering <http://localhost:631/printers>

This will initiate the process of setting up the printer. The screens are easily understood.
