Installing Red Hat 6

I have Windows ME on my PC and I've just installed Red Hat 6.
I have some problems.

1 - I can't access the linux GUI. I suspect it is because of the video card driver. I have a Gforce MX. Which option should I choose

2 - which program should I use to make a dual boot (Win me/Linux)?

thanks

what kind of errors are you getting when you try accessing the linux GUI. I don't know if this card is supported or not, but posting the error that you receive will help tremendously.

I have always used LILO in the past, others may have different reccomendations, but LILO worked for me.

If i were you i would go and check out the hardware compability to see if your video card is compatible but i think it should be compatible. I use LILO to load Linux. I used GRUB but it is a main in the s to uninstall where you can uninstall lilo with a one line command. And you can find the how-to on lilo here

Well on the video card, installing RedHat 6 has a older version of XFree86, it would be a good idea if your gonna install it, you will most likely need to upgrade your XFree86. You might want to maybe get a later version of Redhat if possible.

With Redhat and ME, I would go with Lilo, but I don't think you have any other option unless you go out and get a different boot loader installed.
