Maybe this would be a good spot to ask if anyone knows of drivers that might be available for internal DSL modems (such as the Intel Pro/DSL 2100 I currently have)? I just installed Linux (Red Hat 7.0), and in my web searches have not found any drivers for this. I'm not a developer, and cannot address this particular lack, but I wonder if Linux developers are up to speed on the need for drivers for broadband internet access?
I'm really looking at Linux as an alternative to MS, but find myself stymied by my own lack of expertise and a 7-year loyalty/dependence on Windows. If anyone knows of good resources for finding drivers for wireless networking/broadban, and good proggies for Linux (or even an opinion on distros), I will eagerly listen.
Thanks.
