Hello Linux people!

Here is what I have:
1. Linux RH 7.1 Server with 2 NICs connected to Internet and running Apache and Sendmail (just started it up yeasterday)
2. "Internal" NIC (192.168.1.100) is connected to Linksys FastEthernet 4 port router (192.168.1.1)
3. Windoze ME PC (192.168.1.101) connected to the router.
4. FUTURE: Laptop and iMac connected to the router to have Web access and file/printer sharing.

Problem: Windoze ME does not see Web. It pings RH server, router fine, but that's it.

Question: Router has Web browser based config app., which, among other options, has to radio buttons "Gateway" and "Router". Which should I use? How about DHCP server. On RH 7.1 server I put my ISP (Telocity DSL) DNS addresses, so, technically my server is not DHSP server.
I tried different kinds of settings on Windoze ME, but still no luck.
What about the topgraphy of my LAN?
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

DHCP is used for dynamic ips and since you have static ips i dont think you should enable dhcp. And if the router is fine in RH7.1, it does not seem like you have any problems with the router or router setup. I would say play with Windoze and look for the error there. i dont know if me uses the same thing but i typed winipcfg at the run command on my windoze 98 machine and then released everything and then i clicked renew all and it worked. It might work for you too. Let me know if it works

I would suggest you double check with your provider to see if you are assigned ip's via DHCP. The only ip you have to worry about is the "outside" or "WAN" ip. as soon as you get that you can specify ip's to each of your internal machines.
In the setup screen of the router look for the wan mac address. you may need to give this number to your provider for you to have internet access. It's the way NIC's and such are authenticated on DHCP servers.
