Lilo & the wonder of RPM's

I can't get Lilo to boot Windows ME, in the config file I have Windows in as hda1, but it will not boot, its 8GB disk on the Primary IDE1, so I would think that would work?

I use SuSE 7.1, can I use other RPM's like Red Hat, as the SuSE ftp site is a bit of a bugger to get around?

Thanks for reading.

Is your windows partition on /dev/hda1?

After changing the /etc/lilo.conf did you run '/sbin/lilo'?
