Question How to convert macintosh pic to gif/jpg

Hello,

I need to convert a macintosh pict/pic binary image file into a gif/jpg, so that it is viewable via a browser. Is there some linux command line program that does this? Perferably source code included?

Also, some program to manipulate images (resize, thumbnails, convert files) via the command line would be cool.

thanks,
Lervere.

Have a look at the Gimp. I think you can do just about anything like this with it, and I'm pretty sure you can use it in a command line mode too.

Cheers

Jamie...
