Lightbulb Windows Native Machine code

Hi all,
I became curious yesterday about programming in Linux. I do a lot of work with Visual C++ on NT 4.0, and the only reason for this
is that our customers want executables that run on Windoze
boxes (Linux apps. running under emulation doesn't appeal to
them somehow :-( ) , and I was thinking: is there a Linux tool that enables you to write C++ apps using KDevelop, or whatever, and then compiles it into native Win32 code? If there was, that might be a huge argument in favour of the transition of Windows to Linux boxes.

Well, its a thought isn't it?!

Cheers

Paul

I think the closest you'll get for something like this is the qt library from trolltech - have a look at http://www.trolltech.com/ for more details. I think this is what they use to write Opera and that works almost identically on Windows and Linux.

HTH

Jamie...
