booting


i need a bootable disk without a root password... like in slakware they have a live bootable cd without a root password.how will i do that.coz i cant boot on my harddrive so i want to boot on my floppy and log on root w/out password and mount my linux hard disk....so pls help me...

umm... if you don't already have a boot disk, you've got a small problem. did the installation have an option to make a boot disk? that's probably the easiest way to do it.
