Lilo Problem

My LILO prompt does not give me any option to boot , but directly boots from dos.
I changed the LILO properties for default linux booting but it did not help.
So I have to use the start up disk every time I want to boot into linux.

Please help

After you edited the "default=" line, did you run /sbin/lilo to activate the changes?
You can also add the word "prompt" on its own line in the global section, which will cause lilo to wait at the boot prompt. Hit tab at that point to display the menu of bootable OSes.
