Unhappy NIC Not grabbing IP after DHCP refresh...

Around noon each day, my ethernet card (connected to a cable modem from which it gets it's ip via dhcp) renews it's lease. Usually nothing bad happens. But recently the card is not grabbing an ip. The nic comes up fine but without an ip. The only way I have been able to get it to grab the ip is to manually take the card down and then bring it back up.

Anyone heard of this before?

BTW - the only change I made to my system recently was upgrade to kernel 2.4.3 but this problem was happening before and after I made the upgrade...

Unhappy Pump...I think

I used RH 7.1's Install process to setup that cards. During the install it asked if I wanted the nic's to get their address via dhcp. I said yes. With the other questions I have asked about my cards, I want to say pump is the program I am using. But, I am not sure. Is this what you were looking for?
