Question resizeing the desktop


my icos are about 2 inches across and my desktop looks like it should be on a 30 inch screen how do i resize my desktop
and can i resize it in x window or is there a command line i can use

Question Confused

I don't understand the question. What version distro are you using? Am i right in thinking that you've installed the bulk of the system but you need to get X (X Windows as its sometimes called) running?
