Question


Yes, I am as green as they come. Why is my GUI mode so huge? (I can only see 1/4 of the screen after starting startx.)

One of the reasons I always boot in 'text mode' With desktop res. below 1024 I can't even see 'ok', or 'cancel' buttons. You can re-configure your graphics card by using xf86config. If you can get there.
