I got the latest, latest versions of mod_jk and tomcat. I have one issue: It reads the classpath in the tomcat startup script incorrectly. My jar files, etc are placed in /usr/java/jdk1.3 and my classpath in the startup script is set up as follows:
CLASSPATH=/usr/java/jdk1.3:/var/tomcat/lib/tomcat.jar.
I had to compress all the class jar files into one big jar file, as well as all the other classes, etc tools.jar, dt.jar, jasper.jar....
Why is this? When tomcat starts up, it displays the correct path information but none of the jsp files compile correctly.
Someone please help...thanks
