aimstr8 Member Registered: Mar 2001 Posts: 40 Rep:	HI, I discovered the below log entry from /var/log/samba/log.smb: Rejecting user 'arthur': authentication failed [2001/05/30 06:56:05, 1] smbd/password.cass_check_smb(492) Couldn't find user 'arthur' in UNIX password database. I searched the other logs to try & locate more information on who was trying to get to my into my system, but was unable to. Anyone know which log to look in for this person's IP address? Or how to set up logging to capture the IP in the future? TIA, -Ward
