Hi,

I created an extended partition using "fdisk" and used "mke2fs" to make it the appropriate file system. I think I might have done something wrong and now everytime I try "fdisk /dev/hda", I get a repetitive error message "omitting empty partition (5)" and I can't even get to the fdisk menu.

Has anyone encountered this before? And what do I need to do so that I can get back to the fdisk menu. Thanks.

Yee
