ok, i'm new here but i just wanted to ask you experts what i should use. I have a pentium 100Mhz, 24mb ram, 1.59GB hard drive, and a hsp modem (pc tel chipset, i think its linux compatible). I want to make a server out of this computer, I am getting cable soon so it will work out good. I was just wondering what distro of linux i should use. I've already tryed red hat 7 and i got an error with the installion. Something dealing with anaconda. What about SuSe or Debian? anything will help. Thanks in advance!

Debian or even Slackware are good choices. Debian can be a little difficult for the new person to Linux, Slackware can too but not as hard to understand during install.

red hat 6.2?

i've been looking around the boards and the net and i'm seeing that red hat 6.2 is the best version of red hat. Is this true? If so, why is it so good? i would like to hear your comments or probelms, thanks.
