Unhappy

I just set up my RedHat 7.0 and just wanted to set up my Internet Connection as well. After some minutes I got my Ethernet Card set, but I don't know how to setup the next part, retrieving an IP. In my Windows 98 setting I don't really need to type anything to set it up.
My Windows 98 TCP/IP setting is:
DNS Configuration: Disable DNS
Gateway: None
WINS Configuration: Disable
IP Address: Obtain an IP address automatically

When I type winipcfg I can see whole bunch of info including my IP, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, DHCP Server, and DNS Server.

So can anyone help me how/where to type those numbers up? Thank you.

mikkol,

Logged in as root, you can change the network information with /sbin/netconf

Or you can try Linuxconf within X, easier graphical setup utility. Or even just type setup at the command line.

Most dialup sessions the info will automatically appear after you dial in and get an IP, the other entries will be determined by the service provider, in most cases, especially in a Windows enviroment even, all you need is the ISP phone number and your username and password to get connected.
