Upgrade to Linux?

Good Moring to all,

I currently have two computers networked at home using 3COM NIC's and a five port hub. One is Win2K pro and the other is 95...

After taking a SuSE Linux 7.1 class I find getting back to the command line with a very powerful operating system is a good thing.

My question is: I wish to convert the 95 system to Linux. Currently I am aware of SuSE and RedHat. The first question is which is better?

The second is: They both offer a personal version and a server or professional version. Since I wish to learn about administering a network using UNIX/LINUX, which would be the better of the two versions?

Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Start with the basic/simple versions. You can add the resources and tools you need to learn to administer as you learn the system.

I'm a SuSE user, but there are more RH users on this board.
