Question

I am trying to setup my Mandrake 8 to be my private ftp server and I cannot figure out how to get Dynip.com going.

I have downloaded the tar.gz file and tried to compile it but no success. Has anyone done this before and how did you get it to work?

PLEASE DON'T FLAME ME!

I am a newbie to linux. I have my Windows Me setup as a private ftp but would like to switch over to linux because Windows is basically a rip off pushed on the world.
