I have recently installed Mandrake 7.2 on my computer, alongside the pre-existing Win98 setup. I have a Speedway! ISDN PCI card in my computer, supplied by British Telecom, and used to connect to Freeserve, my ISP, over the BT HomeHighway ISDN system. This has always worked perfectly in Win98, and still does.

In Linux, when I try to connect to Freeserve, the Debug Script window in kppp shows the following:

ATZ
OK

ATM1L1
OK

ATDT08440402001
NO MSN/EAZ

and the connection is not established. Does anyway have a clue as to what I need to do?

I believe that card is supported by the kernel. Two things you need to make sure. Do you have ISDN support compiled into the kernel? Do you have the isdntools installed?
