I have RH 6.2. Whenever i boot the system i am not able to telnet to other systems but able to login local system. It is happening for five minutes after that i am able to login to other system. Can u tell me what will be problem?
Sounds like the TCP/IP interface that you are using to connect to the telnet server in question is timing out on something - a number of network timeouts on RedHat systems are 5 minutes. Hope this helps.
