Help!!!!!! I just instaled Linux Mandrake 7.2 ad am trying to configure my Monitor. After abot 5 or 6 trys in DrakX I lose all mouse contol and I don't get it back untill I do a full restart on my computer? Can anybody help me??
What do you mean "5 or 6 tries"? Are you not sure of the type of configuration you need?
I'm not that familiar with Mandrake, but you should be able to boot to (or change to) a console (runlevel 1/3) and do your configuration (DrakX) there. That way you could run a mouseconfig before X ever tries to start-at least that way you wouldn't LOSE your mouse, but you may have to reconfigure it.
