Greeting group,
My question is not of a truly 100% Linux nature, although everything I do involving the internet is 100% with Linux.
I would like to know how I can submit my friends website (Tracy's Cute as a Button) to well know search engines (i.e. Google) with out spending any cash. She makes Crochet sweaters for Children and would like her site at
http://cuteasabutton.netfirms.com to be recognized by search engines when keywords like: sweaters, clothing, crochet, yarn, wool, etc. are submitted.
The reason I am posting to this forum is because I have tried everything I know to publisize her site to no avail, nothing ever comes up when I querry. Yet when I search "farmer greg", my alias with this forum, I get some of my previous posts in Google.
How does Linuxquestions make their pages visible to major seach engines and what is the cost?
Thanks,
