My os is red hat linux 7.1.

I found two rpm files regarding linuxconf in cdrom #2:

linuxconf-devel-1.24r2-10.i386.rpm
linuxconf-1.24r2-10.i386.rpm

Which one should I use to install linuxconf?

Many thanks.

you don't need to install the -devel package

Just to add on...

You may want to install gnome-linuxconf if you want the GUI for linxconf else you can still work with the text-based.
