Okay, the machine I have (IBM AIX) (Sorry guys....no linux) uses AFS. I currently have the box authenticating through Kerberos, so in /etc/security/user you have
default:
SYSTEM = AFS OR (AFS[UNAVAIL] AND compat[SUCCESS])
anyways...this gets my local users to authenticate through kerberos, unless afs/kerberos is down, then we authenticate locally. what I want to do, is get ssh2 to authenticate using the authentication method the host uses...ie I want ssh2 to authenicate via afs/kerberos, unless thats down....is there any way to get ssh2 to use the /etc/security/user file to decide logins?
I NEED HELP
