Hi

How would I configure my lifeview TV/Radio tuner under Linux?

Has anyone done this?

Do you recommend a liveview or a creative TV tuner?

tv support is not normally enabled out of the box, and not knowing the distro, or kernel version you running, your best bet is to:

as root, cd /usr/src/linux. then <make xconfig>. then browse the options for tv support to determine if your model is supported. then just exit without saving if you don't want to do the kernel rebuild at this time.

Ok,

I need some help here.

I downloaded xawtv, and installed it. But I need some help to set up the tuner.
Is there any good howto’s or docs on the web that can help me?
Can someone perhaps guide me in the right direction?

I am running RH7.1
