Hi,

I'm going to develop a user level application using c++. The application probably will contain more then one thread. Does anyone have a recommendation for a threads library?
Has anyone worked will Jthread or ACE?
How can I debug my application with each of these libraries?

Thanks,

Kobi.

You probably want to go with ACE as it is just a C++ wrapper to the standard LinuxThreads that are part of glibc.

Question

Does ACE work also with RED-HAT 7.0 (gcc 2.96)?

Thanks a lot,

Kobi.
