Glad you got it going. I reread your question and see that I made a mistake. You had specified what you needed. You wanted to setup your network. I misread it to say you were trying to set it up, the Linux.
By the way, I downloaded the Phat program and installed it on one of my machines to see what you might have been talking about. This is the first time I've considered seeing Linux on a DOS machine. I was surprised at the ease that it started, just by clicking on an item in Windows.
It's good that you have your network setup. It didn't configure my network card by default, and it didn't have to source to try to compile it in. If you need special drivers compiled in you might have to pickup the source to the kernel at some time. You can upgrade the kernel from
http://www.kernel.org. Again, it's good you have your network setup. That's one of the most important things needed for having access to all the resources available.
What, by the way, was the key to the problem you were having?
