hii
i installed linux mandrkee i get connected to net but
netscape gives error your local domain host is not found
plz help me

Have you checked your /etc/hosts file?
Make sure you at least have the following line in there:

localhost.localdomain localhost

This is basically your 127.0.0.1 address. Other than that, try manually entering the IP address of your service provider. Are you running thorugh a gateway of some sort? If so, make sure that address is in there too.

You might also want to try sending a quick post of what your /etc/hosts file looks like at this time.
