Resolution Problem

I am a new bie for linux, and first time on liunxquestions.org . I installed the PCQ Linux 7.1 supported by RedHat 7.1 yesterday.

The installation went ok, but the resolution was not good. I had to scroll through the navigation bar to access all the icons.

The resolution set by me is:

600 * 800 in a 256(8bit) colour scheme.

Please tell me what to do. Thank you.

From the command line try using Xconfigurator to change your resolution. I'm not a Redhat user but I imagine that it will give you an option somewhere you choose a res.

cheers

Jamie...
