Hi all,

I am trying to use the rsh command to connect to another linux machine on my private network (redhat 6.2). However, it keeps asking me for a password. How do I connect without having to type a password everytime?

Thanks.

Jon

I believe the answer is in your rhosts file.. but not totally sure about no password prompting, maybe man rhosts for more details.
I would suggest using something like NFS if your just wanting to gain access to another Linux machine, sharing files, etc.
