Msn


Oh I am risking my neck here.......anyway has anyone had any experience getting a Linux box connected through MSN? Its the ISP i have right now so I am stuck.

Any experiences would be appreciated.

I used to use it with no problem. I did have to use a windows box to set up a new account. (The account signup runs off of proprietary windows software). If you call them and ask, they will give you a standard list of information for unsupported applications (linux). This list will include server addresses and everything you will need. The information that they gave me was complete and accurate.

linux through MSN ...

i'd be a lot more worried about what billy boy might do to you than i would be about any lin users flaming ya...

u need to type MSN/user in the user field make sure there is no @msn.com or @hotmail.com though
