After upgrading 2 of my RedHat servers to 7.1 I have noticed that upon boot I am not seeing the services status displayed. For example it used to boot and say
Sendmail [OK]
and it did this for each service I had that started at boot.
Is there a way to enable this so it displays the status on boot ?
it's not a matter of enabling anything, it's the way your boot scripts are set up.
you'll need to find the scipt (distro-dependant) where it starts ups the services, and have it echo out "$service started ok" or "$service failed", depending.
