memory

I'm running mandrake 7 and am unable to get the correct memory size set in the lilo.conf file.
I have 192m and added the line append="mem=192M".
but no luck. will only recognize 65M.
Is lilo.conf the correct file to change?

you may have done this already, after hand editing lilo.conf you have to run lilo once (before restart) for the changes to take effect.

If this is newly installed RAM, you may want to check and see if it has been recognized by your BIOS.

make changes to lilo.conf then:

Code:
# /sbin/lilo
this will and should solve your problem.
