/tmp cleanup

Out of curiousity, how do you setup a computer to automatically delete the contents of the /tmp folder at every reboot?

You can just put something like
Code:
rm -rf /tmp/*
in one of your startup scripts, on Slackware you would use /etc/rc.d/rc.local dunno about Mandrake. Mind you you'll want to make sure that no programs use /tmp to store information between reboots - otherwise things might become a little strange!

You could also put that command in you CRON schedule file if you wanted to do it on a schedule. (i.e. every night at 1am Mon-Fri.)
