I just installed linux, and i have a cd-rom on ide0 and a Mitsumi cd-r installe on the other ide but i donīt know how to install it. Linux installed by default my cdrom, but not mi cd-r.

The distro (short for distribution) is what linux you are running. A few examples would be Red Hat, Slackware and Debian. To use the CD-R you need to install a program that supports your CD-R. Here are a few links:
